About Pam

Through the years Pam has helped many people teach their dogs manners and solve problem behaviors.  Since 1985 she has worked in animal shelter, training facilities, and attended many seminars, workshops and accredited classes in order to remain current on all dog related information.  She has also worked as a field trainer with Paws with a Cause, a national assistance dog organization that specializes in training assistance dogs to help people with disabilities.  She has used various methods of training throughout the years and has found what she believes to be a wonderful method of teaching which she implements in all of Unleashed Potential’s classes.

Pam is certified through CCPDT (Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers), is a Master Third Way Trainer, a certified dog behavior consultant CDBC, certified service animal consultant, SAC, and certified therapy animal consultant, TAC, through International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), a professional member of Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), professional member of International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP), and endorsed member of National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors (NADOI), a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator (AKC/CGC), and instructor of Pet First Aid/CPR for American Red Cross and American Safety & Health Institute, a member of Fox Valley Therapy Dog Club (FVTDC) a Delta Pet Partner volunteer and a Vitas Hospice “Pet Pal” volunteer with her dog Peyton.  She is certified in holistic therapies that include Bach Flower Essence, Tuning Fork Therapy, Animal Communication, Canine Reflexology and is an Animal Reiki Master Teacher.  Pam is also fluent in Aromatherapy, Touch and Acupressure.
